Cacapon Hideaway

All sites are primitive camping-located in the mountains. Our sites are mostly wooded; all have fire rings, picnic tables and are located close to a hand-wash station and a port-a-john. Our sites are mostly tent but we do offer a couple RV sites but the RV must be self contained. Also we have a camping A-frame for those not ready to camp yet .We have a large pond for fishing (catch& release only). We are located close to the Cacapon and the Potomac Rivers & only 2.6 miles from a Nature Conservancy with over 4 miles of marked trails. We are 7.6 miles from Berkeley Springs.

Gary’s Cox Camping

35 tent and RV sites with electric and water hook ups. A 2 bedroom cottage, 2 small cabins and 4 campers also available. Come share in the fun activities such as: horse shoes, red neck golf, pond for fishing and nature trails for hiking or scenic viewing. Excellent for family reunions and events. We have a Main Lodge that includes a camp store with antique shop, soda machine and a large deck. The lounge area is A/C controlled and two 50” TVs for your viewing enjoyment.  We have hot showers, flush toilets and a washer and dryer and an on site dump station available 24 hours a day. Pets welcome but must be leashed. Tent camping starts at $15 and RV at $35.

The Byrd’s Nest On The River

A river front primitive campsite on the scenic Cacapon River in Great Cacapon, WV. The property is very secluded, and can accommodate 5 tents comfortably or a few small campers (w/o hookups) only one group booked at a time.  3 tubes and kayaks available for your use. There is one big fire ring for cooking and/or bonfires, along with a large stationary stand up charcoal camp grill. WiFi and electrical hook up. $68 for 4 guests up to 12 guests.
